Welcome to B & B Retrievers
We are proud breeders of AKC American &
English Cream Golden Retrievers & AKC
Labrador Retrievers. We have been training &
raising dogs since 1994. We have a lot of
wonderful family members who just love to help
us with our dogs. We live in Sheboygan,
Wisconsin right on lake Michigan. Part of our
past dog training included Search and Rescue.
Shadow and one of our dogs Tasha (passed in
2007) were search dogs. This was something
we really enjoyed doing. Over the years we
continued to support SAR. Sarah is now an
Evaluator for NSSDN. She was able to assist in
the evaluation of Brett on Easter weekend.

Just a little about us....
We are a family run kennel. We believe in
the personal touch and feel very strong
that our dogs are part of the family. All
the puppies are cared for in the house.
We want our puppies and dogs to be
raised in a "homey" atmosphere. We feel
very strongly that our dogs need to be
well socialized. We start socializing the
puppies at 3 weeks with family members,
including children. We feel it is very
important that they are well tempered
around children since most of our
puppies will go to families with small
children. Once the puppies are the
appropriate age we introduce them to
several areas of puppy therapy. This
helps with socialization as well as
provides a service to the community. The
puppies are also socialized with our adult
dogs. It is very important for both the
puppies and adult dogs to co-exist
together. A lot of teaching and socializing
comes from the adult dogs. It has taken
us several years of dog training and
education to get to where we are today.

look forward to many more adventures
with our dogs in the future.

Breeding Dogs is not our full time job, but
our fun time job. Sarah works full time as a
Registered Nurse & Ray works as a
maintenance Supervisor for one of the area
hotels. We have one adult son Steven who
helps us out with the puppy business. We
have always enjoyed dogs and are very glad
to share with others the experience of
owning a dog.

We have very much enjoyed learning the tools of
the trade from our friend breeders "Those
Goldens". We have enjoyed working with them
on several projects and with our breeding
program. The owner Missy Wright and her
husband Ron have a wonderful breeding program
and wonderful dogs and we feel very fortunate to
be a part of that. We look forward to many
wonderful years working with them.
